Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Spanish midfielder, Maite Oroz, on a four-year deal.
The former Real Madrid co-captain is the final piece in Robert Vilahamn's puzzle, and will give them the boost they need to work their way up the table in the upcoming season.
Oroz made 146 appearances for Real Madrid, making her the second-highest in team history, as well as having stints at Osasuna and Athletic Bilbao.
In her final season for Las Blancas (Real Madrid), Maite netted five goals in 24 appearances. Spurs fans hope that the move to North London will see Maite record her best goalscoring campaign to date, topping that of last season.
Maite also has started to gain international recognition, gaining 15 caps for Spain so far. In this time, she has netted four goals, and was a member of the side that won the UEFA Women's Nations League earlier this year.
