Michelle Agyemang joins Brighton and Hove Albion on loan.

Brighton and Hove Albion have announced that they have completed the loan signing of Michelle Agyemang from Arsenal.

The 18-year-old will remain with the Seagulls for the duration of the 2024/25 season, before returning to her parent club.

Agyemang made her debut for Arsenal Women First Team back in November of 2022, making six appearances for the gunners in total. In this time, she had a dual registration spell with Barclays Women’s Championship side Watford, where she scored six goals. She also signed her first professional contract with Arsenal in May of 2024.

The forward most recently featured in Arsenal's squad for the first round of the Champion's League Qualifiers.

Agyemang is viewed as one of the brightest young forwards to come from the Arsenal academy, and regularly starts for the England U19's.

The move to Brighton will ensure she can gain regular minutes under her belt playing in one of the best leagues in the world.

Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Dario Vidošić said: “We’re delighted to welcome Michelle to the club.

"She is a goal-scorer and excellent playmaker.

“It’s clear to see her talent and potential in the game and she will give us another exciting option in attack.

“We’re looking forward to seeing what she can add to our team this season.”
