After six years at the club, Abigail Harrison departs The Robins prior to their league fixture facing London City Lionesses.

Moving from Scottish side Hibernian, she joined Bristol City in January 2019. From that moment onwards, Harrison went on to make 128 appearances representing the club.
3 years later, in March of 2022, the Scot earned the huge achievement of becoming Bristol City’s all time leading goal scorer for the women’s team. This came following her stoppage time strike securing a 3-1 victory over Watford in the Barclays Women’s Championship.
As her time with City comes to a close, her goal tally adds up to 40, including one on a historic afternoon where the team secured the 2023 Championship League Title and promotion to the Women’s Super League.
Harrison was in attendance for the fixture versus London City Lionesses as a chance to give a deserved send off to a club legend and as a chance to say goodbye to the fans.
“The time has come for me to move on to the next chapter of my career,” she said.
“Leaving this football club after six years has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but I know it’s the right thing for me.
“We’ve shared some brilliant memories together and I’ve made friends for life.
“To the fans, thank you for your brilliant support and for all the good times we’ve had together. I’ll never forget my time in this brilliant City.”
