We are back in Women’s Super League (WSL) action for the weekend after FA cup clashes last weekend, with Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United advance to the semi-finals of the cup with Tottenham Hotspur facing Brighton & Hove Albion at Brisbane Road.

The action:
We start the game with Tottenham Hotspur’s, Drew Spence kicking us off into the first half of the Barclays WSL clash.
Tottenham gain an early chance after the ball was crossed into the centre of the box onto Martha Thomas’ right foot, but her shot was just too far to the right.
Moments later, Olivia Holdt makes an attempt to break the deadlock with a right footed shot from outside the box, but the shot goes too high and wide.
Brighton makes an attempt to gain the first goal of the game with a header from Rachel McLauchlan from outside the box, but the shot lands in Lize Kop’s hands and is saved in the centre of the goal.
Fran Kirby takes a long range shot from the left of the box, her shot unfortunately lands too high and flies over the crossbar into the stands behind.
Nikita Parris found space in the box and attempts to take a shot, but is blocked by Tottenham’s Ella Morris.
Moments later, Fran Kirby buries the ball into the back of the net with a right footed shot in the centre of the box, following a cross in by McLauchlan

We are back into the second half with Brighton kicking us back off into the WSL clash
Fran Kirby takes an early chance, just a minute into the second half with a right footed shot from the right of the box, but her shot is unfortunately blocked.
Nikita Parris takes two shots within a minute with a header from the centre of the box which is deflected and a left footed shot from the left side of the box, is close but unfortunately misses to the left.
Nadine Noordam makes an attempt to double The Albions lead with a right footed shot from outside the box but misses to the right.
Parris makes another attempt to double the lead with a header from the centre of the box, but her header is saved in the bottom right corner of the goal.
Marisa Olislagers crosses the ball into the box, landing it on Madison Haleys head, but the header from the centre of the box is saved.
Brighton is awarded a free kick after a foul by Drew Spence and Michelle Agyemang takes a right footed shot from very close-range but misses to the left, following a cross from Marisa Olislagers with a set piece situation.
Ella Morris attempts to find the equaliser for The Lilywhites with a right footed shot from the right side of the box but her shot lands just too high and goes over the crossbar.
