FootieFusion has been made aware of ongoing conversations between Mark Skinner and Manchester United regarding Skinner's future with the club. He is set to be offered another contract, keeping his position of the women's first team manager.
The 41-year-old joined the club in 2021, and has since guided United to a second-place finish in the Women's Super League, as well as an FA Cup Final. However, he has been subject to criticism recently, due to United's lack of victories. United currently sit fourth in the WSL table.
However, there has been calls for Skinner's contract to be revoked due to his lack of success in guiding the team to success in all competitions.
His current contract expires in summer, will he stick around to try and guide Manchester United to the top of the table?
