Monique Robinson signs for Sheffield United.

Sheffield United have announced the Monique Robinson will be making the jump from blue to red as she signs a new contract with the club!


Robinson previously played for Women's Super League team, Leicester City, where she signed her first professional contract.


The midfielder made her debut for the Foxes in 2022 during a Continental League Cup tie against Manchester City.


Robinson's debut senior goal happened against Brighton and Hove Albion in 2023, helping to secure three points for the Foxes, as well as claiming herself a spot in the league nominations list for Goal of the Month.


The 19-year-old is now returning to her childhood club where she will be presented with the opportunity to flourish under the watchful eye of Head Coach, Ash Thompson.


When speaking to Sheffield United about her return, Robinson said: "I’m really excited.


"I was here in the academy and I’m excited to be back.


"Getting the experience in tier three has really helped me with senior football and I’m ready to take that next step.


"It's a team with the right ambitions and everything seems to be going in the right direction so I am excited to be apart of it."
