Leicester City have signed 24-year-old Icelandic striker from Swedish side Kristianstads until the end of the 2026/27 season.

She was her past club’s top scorer in the Damallsvenskan last season with 15 goals in 25 matches, and has scored six goals in 35 appearances internationally since making her senior debut in 2018.
“I am really happy to be here and looking forward to getting started with the team. I am honoured to be here,” Eiriksdottir said.
Amandine Miquel’s side are currently 11th in the Women's Super League - the new striker arrival is seen as a huge boost to the club who have struggled with injuries to their attacking player in this first half of the season. French striker Noemie Mouchon tore her ACL in October, ruling her out for the whole season. The club’s two top scorers from last season- Jutta Rantala and Lena Petermann- have also been sidelined since October and November respectively. English forward Shannon O’Brien made her first WSL start this season on Sunday after undergoing knee surgery last year.
Hlin Eriksdottir is Leicester City’s second signing of the transfer window after they brought in Welsh goalkeeper to replace Lize Kop.
