Cloé Lacasse joins Utah Royals on a 3 year contract after her shock departure from Arsenal.
Cloé Lacasse has been at Arsenal for just one year since leaving Benfica.
Though out Cloé Lacasses time at Arsenal she quickly became a fan favourite, with a wicked chant to accompany her.
Lacasse made 28 appearances for Arsenal and 5 goals and 2 assists in all competitions across the year.
Cloés first goal was in the dying few minutes of the game against Manchester United where she was able to equalise with a rocket of a goal, she becomes the first Arsenal woman to score away and at home to Manchester United.
In an interview with Arsenal, Cloé reflected on her time saying: “I’m grateful for the experience and will always carry with me the memory of scoring in front of you all at a sold-out Emirates Stadium. I wish the team, the club and all you Gooners the very best moving forward.”
This will be the first time the Canadian has played football in the NWSL, she is currently joining the team who are currently at the bottom of the table . Utah Royals have only won 2 games out of 16 , so with the added player of Lacasses they will be hoping to turn there luck around and become a key part of the Royals.
