Ava Baker has announced she will be leaving Leicester City after 11 years.
Baker is a product of the Leicester City academy, and the blue shirt is all she has ever known - until now.
As Baker prepares to start the next chapter in her career, let's take a look back at her time with Leicester.
The 18-year-old made her professional senior debut for the Foxes in 2022 as she was named in the starting XI against Manchester City in the FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup, just three days after turning sixteen.
This was shortly followed by another appearance later that month, coming off the bench in the Women's FA Cup game against Tottenham Hotspur, before making her first WSL appearance against Reading in May 2022.
She also holds the record as Leicester City's youngest ever goalscorer when she scored her debut goal in the blue and white shirt against Sunderland, two days after her 17th birthday.
In a statement published on Instagram, Baker said:
"After 11 years at Leicester City, it's time to say goodbye.
"Making the decision to leave my girlhood club was not easy, but I'd like to thank all of the staff, coaches and players that I can now call family that I met along the way.
"The memories I made at this club will never be forgotten and I will be forever grateful for every moment."
Baker has also had a spectacular start to her international career as she has become a regular feature in the England youth teams.
The winger made her debut for England during the Under-17's game against Norway, and shortly after, scored her first goal against Poland.
The young talent has a bright future ahead, and her next chapter will be revealed soon, with many Championship teams registering their interest.
