We are entering the FA cup in the fourth round, with West Ham facing Liverpool. Both teams are no stranger to this fixture with this being the twelfth time the sides have faced each other, the most recent being in game week two of the Women’s Super League (WSL), ending 1-1 with goals from Olivia Smith and Riko Ueki.

After being rescheduled due to a frozen pitch, the game is finally underway with Liverpool kicking us off Liverpool starts off the game with an early goal in the 3rd minute via an unfortunate own goal from Camila Sáez after a corner was crossed into the box.
West Ham gain an equaliser back in the 8th minute with a header from Vivianne Asseyi, but the flag goes up and the goal is counted as offside.
The Hammers make an attempt to equalise with a right footed shot by Asseyi, but her attempt is blocked by Liverpool keeper, Rachel Laws.
Oona Siren makes another attempt to give West Ham an equaliser, but her shot is blocked and deflected away.
Olivia Smith makes an attempt to gain the reds another, but her shot is blocked by Megan Walsh.
Leanne Kiernan doubles Liverpool’s lead in the 17th minute with a right footed shot from the edge of the six-yard box and chips the ball round Megan Walsh to slot it into the bottom corner.
Amber Tysiak is shown the red card after a challenge in the 38th minute and West Ham go down to 10 players, leaving the field being applauded by the disappointed West Ham fans.
Half Time: Liverpool 2-0 West Ham
Liverpool starts off the second half with a goal via a right footed shot from the centre of the box is buried into the bottom corner by Grace Fisk after a corner was crossed in by Höbinger in the 47th minute.
Jenna Clark makes an attempt to gain another for the reds but her left footed shot from very close range is blocked in the centre of the goal.
Lucy Parry gains Liverpool a fourth with a shot from the centre of the box which flies pass Hammers keeper, Walsh, and is planted in the centre of the goal.
Liverpool gains a fifth three minutes later after a header from remarkably close range by Sam Kerr is buried in the back of the goal following a corner taken by Júlia Bartel.
Júlia Bartel tries to give Liverpool a sixth with a right footed shot from a difficult angle and long range on the left but is saved in the top right corner.
Dagny Brynjarsdóttir makes an attempt to gain West Ham a goal back in the last minute of added time with a right footed shot from outside the box but unfortunately is blocked.
